Nor-Shipping 2009, the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin) and the business solution provider MultiPlus Solutions have signed an exclusive pre-study contract for the MultiPlus ERP business system. In addition, the Vinashin technology subsidiary Visec and MultiPlus Solutions have signed a collaboration agreement where Visec will represent the Norwegian company in the Vietnamese market. If successful, the pre-study will be followed by an agreement for consultancy services and installation of the MultiPlus Shipbuilding Solution at shipyards and other subsidiaries in the Vinashin Group. The Vinashin Group has over 200 subsidiaries consisting of 38 shipyards and five shipping companies that include around 18,000 highly skilled employees.
