Vietnam rice exports may be 400,000 tons this month

Rice exports from Vietnam, the world’s second-largest shipper after Thailand, may total 400,000 metric tons this month, 25 percent less than a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Thai rice exports to drop 10 pct on India, Vietnam competition

Rice exports from Thailand, the world’s biggest shipper, may decline 10 percent this year on competition from India and Vietnam even as the value of the shipments gains, according to the Foreign Trade Department.

ANZ Bank seeks tenfold increase in wealthy Vietnamese clients

Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., which aims to get 30 percent of its revenue from the Asia-Pacific area by 2017, plans to increase its number of wealthy clients in Vietnam to 10,000 from 1,000 in three years.

Vietnam to harvest record coffee crop in 2011-12, Sucafina says
