Project of My Phuoc – Tan Van street starts by August 7th

10_DOOL_090810_L4_H1_515Morning of August 5th, Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Department of Traffic and Transportation who is investing to site clearance and compensation preparing for My Phuoc – Tan Van traffic project and others.

As reported, some 395 households were checked to prepare the construction of the street from My Phuoc to Tan Van, crossing Thu Dau Mot town. Meanwhile, Thu Dau Mot town’s People’s Committee has decided to retrieve land ownership of 288 households.

As for the street path crossing Thuan An district, some 466 households are affected by the project, causing 33 households to be completely cleared out, while Thuan An district has paid out over VND173 billion and been preparing for approval of the third stage of compensation worth more than VND76 billion. Accordingly, some 551 households in Di An district are affected by the project and the district has paid over VND8 billion them.

Addressing the session, Provincial People’s Committee Deputy Chairwoman Tran Thi Kim Van noticed the department of cooperation with localities affected by the project to boost up site clearance and compensation. The money to be paid out should be calculated to benefit the public at most while the province’s authority and its involved agencies will seek for measures to the details of some cases.

The project is expected to start by August 7th, initiate the construction of 7 km of road crossing Dinh Hoa and Phu My wards in Thu Dau Mot town.
