Vietnam cuts 2011 public investment by 10 pct

Vietnam inflation warning; dong under pressure

Vietnam’s inflation has reached a “warning level” and will rise sharply in coming months unless the authorities adopt strong measures, a local newspaper said on Monday, quoting a deputy planning minister.

Vietnam’s H1 FDI inflow up 5.9 pct year on year: ministry

Vietnam’s inflow of foreign direct investment in the first half of this year accelerated 5.9 percent from the same period last year to $5.4 billion, the Ministry of Planning and Investment said on Thursday.
