Several Vietnamese cooking gas distributors made small price cuts on Friday following a hike earlier this month that infuriated local consumers and prompted authorities to launch a nationwide inspection.

JX Nippon, PDVSA interested in Vietnam refinery stakes: report

Japan’s JX Nippon Oil and Energy Corp and Venezuela’s state oil company PDVSA could sign a memorandum of understanding with Petrovietnam to join the expansion plan of Vietnam’s Dung Quat oil refinery, a local newspaper said on Wednesday.

Court orders Indochina Airlines chief to personally repay bank debt

The Supreme People’s Court ruled Tuesday (December 13) that the owner and general director of Vietnam’s first private airline to run flights, now grounded, has to personally repay a US$1.3 million debt the carrier owes a local bank.
